Tenkara fishing is an ancient Japanese method of fishing using flies with feathers wrapped around their hooks.
In recent years, simple and deep Tenkara fishing has attracted attention overseas, and now boasts a worldwide name as TENKARA.
Tenkara fishing consists of a simple rod, line, and flies.Due to its simplicity, there are few troubles, and it is characterized by being easy to handle even for beginners. It's compact enough to fit in a backpack for trail running, so you can enjoy it with other outdoor activities.
When you actually go fishing, you can see that it is a very efficient system that eliminates waste.
Tenkara's field mainly targets headwaters and relatively small satokawa, and targets yamame trout and char.
It is said that there used to be professional fishermen all over the country who engaged in tenkara fishing, and they made a living by taking the fish they caught to lodgings.
